MK4 bodyshells are prepared for 1976 to 1989 Saloons with rubber mounted subframes and rod change gearbox. They could be used for MK3 Saloons 1972 on if rod change gearbox and is fitted and you need to change the solid mount subframe to rubber mounted version.
All bodyshells are supplied electrophoretically coated and primed using the latest industry standard water based paints.
Further specification: Round headlamp apertures, frontwings without repeaters, roof without aerial hole. Doors with side impact bars included. Engine bay with correct slatted inner wing for side mounted radiator. Dashbord bulkhead panel with large 'rotodip' aperture for center binnacle. Front seat belt mountings in pre 1977 position, rear seat belt mountings retained. Latest specification brackets for airbagsensor, alarm and boot mounted washerbottle NOT included.
