Mr (the later Sir) Black, Chairman of Standard, was facing a problem. The new "Jaguar" Company didn't buy his engines any longer. His own car to compete the Jaguars was too heavy and old fashioned. Even the desperate try to buy Morgan failed. So they had to develop the TR2.

Through the years the TR cars lagged slightly behind the times, what made them very popular. But even more attractive: Almost 32 years after the production ended and the factory has been torn down, we can supply all parts needed to run these british icons. Two-part transmission tunnel
1. Easy Installation
The single part transmission tunnels are hard to handle. But the divided cover is very easy to install, as it is made from very light but durable polyethylene plastic.

2. Easy access
The new transmission tunnel provides easier access to servicable parts underneath. This reduces servicing costs. Fast access to A- or J-Type overdrive, to the speedometer cable, to the switch for the reversing lights and other components.

Alloy wheel
The sporties MGs and TRs of the 60's and 70's used the same equipment: Light alloy wheels as introduced by Mini-Light. Optically very close to the English original, todays alloy wheels are casted, polished and painted. Brilliant quality, comes with German firmness certificate. These alloy wheels are suitable for various models. All sizes are available in different widths and wheel offsets.
This bolt-on wheel fits front and rear axle without body modification and can be used with tubeless tyres.

SU Carburettors
Very reasonable conversion kit for the carburettor equipped 6-cylinder engines. Get rid of the capricious,difficult to work on and drive with 175CD Stromberg carburettors, you hardly get any parts for.
The HS6 carburettor is a very bright construction, works perfectly under almost any condition, comes with the corrects jets and fits your car without changes to the intake manifold.

K&N Air filter
K&N Air filters - probably the most efficient way of ensuring clean, dirt free air for the engine without compromising performance. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16“ (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. K&N air filter oil is the only oil specially formulated oil to work in combination with the cotton fabric in K&N filtercharger elements providing a superior air filtration system. When used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats, where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric. Saturation is maintained until the element is cleaned with K&N air filter cleaner.

Oil sump
aluminium. Features: external bracing and integral top oil splash plate.
Everyone ends up denting the sheet metal oil pan.
If its just a dent OK but if it is split then you have a problem. Our new aluminium oil sumps give better cooling and stiffen the engine block. They have enough metal to withstand a few knocks.
