Ladies and Gentlemen, Classic Car Connoisseurs

Panel Beating is an extremely skilled craft requiring the merging of art and mechanics.
We have created our latest masterpiece from a flat piece of metal to a classic bodyshell in a feat of pure craftsmanship.
It's difficult to believe it started as a flat sheet of metal when you see the finished item. The different parts are made with manual tools, shaped, stretched, slapped, folded, welded, braised, bolted, bent, hammered, riveted. The shape is constantly checked with jigs. Finally, the individual sections of the body are connected with a range of welding processes technically appropriate to each part of the bodyshell. The finished body is symmetrical, has a completely smooth and true surface. Each measurement and angle is correct according to the original specification. There will be no need to make any adaptation to fit the frame.

Aluminium expansion tank for all Jaguar XK120 and XK140

Modern cooling systems work mostly with relatively high pressure, so the cooling water temperature can attain a higher temperature to prevent evaporation.
The original solution allowed the precious (see below) cooling water to escape directly through a small hose at the filler neck onto the road. Expansion tanks take the high pressure coolant and pass it back to the system after it has been cooled down thus avoiding the need to keep topping up with fresh water. It is much better to have water without any residual oxidation potential in a long-running system! This modification results in a pressure rise curve which is flat and smooth and the system is not constantly under severe pressure as the expansion volume in the radiator itself is only minimal.
