a nice feature on ships, no less on carburettors. It is stupid if the flooded float cannot close the inlet valve of the float chamber due to lack of lift and the fuel pump first floods the float chamber and then the engine compartment with fuel, irrespective of consumption.

Our floats for numerous applications are made of nitrile rubber. Thousands and thousands of tiny micropores provide guaranteed buoyancy, all the time! Excellent and permanently ethanol resistant and suitable for E10.

Unsinkable float for HIF Carburettor

Even well-made brass floats unfortunately become leaky due to the constant hot/cold stress and the resulting bending moments at the soldered seams. For SU HIF type carburetors, left-hand actuation - guarantees unsinkable floats made of narrow cell nitrile rubber.

Type: SK. Air flow rate display from 1 to 30 kg/h,
Synchronous tester for double and multiple carburettor systems. Optimum idle speed adjustment through precise and fastest gap dimension check. For all engines with large or small displacement, air flow rate display from 1 to 35 kg/h - with bypass up to 40 kg/h, both hands free for adjustment work, display in the lower range very wide. Measuring instruments of type SK are characterized by very low flow resistance.


Carburettor balancer

This inexpensive and solid synchon tester can be used for almost all cross-flow carburetors. The tester is an irreplaceable aid especially for SU carburettors or the more difficult to adjust Stromberg Zenith carburettors. The tester is placed at constant speed on the two carburettors to be compared at the air filter connection. A difference in the pressure indicated by the state of the ball forces further adjustment work.

Penrite Dashpot oil

Penrite Dashpot oil

The Penrite dashpot oil is a low-blended mineral oil for use in SU and Zenith Stromberg carburettors from about 1950 onwards. The damper oil is adjusted very precisely to the required viscosity.

SU Carburettor damper oil

Original SU Zenith damper oil for the later form of the SU, Zenith and Stromberg carburettors of the early post-war period from about 1950, i.e. the carburettor models with damper rod visible on the cover. The mineral oil is mildly alloyed and very stable in terms of viscosity and corrosion protection.
