Disc brake conversion kit

This high performance brake kit will convert your front drum brakes to a up-rated disc system, fits steel wheels and has been exclusively designed for early XK’s and saloons. This allows the discerning classic Jaguar driver to experience a dramatic transformation in the feel and response of their car. Illustrated fitting instructions are included with the set.
Please note: This conversion kit should always be carried out by a trained mechanic.
The master brake cylinder must be adapted so that it is suitable for working with disc brakes. To work with a combined disc and drum brake system, the single circuit brake master cylinder must be converted with the body valve (part no. 487815) and the brake pressure valve (part no. 498821) must be fitted for the rear brakes. Alternatively, you can also convert to a dual circuit brake system by replacing the existing master brake cylinder with the cylinder with part no. 317299. With this variant, you must also fit the brake pressure valve (part no. 498821) for the rear brakes.
