LHD = Left Hand Drive. Steering wheel on the left side of the vehicle. Driving is on the right side of the road, i.e. RHT = Right hand traffic.
RHD = Right Hand Drive. Steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle. Driving is on the Left Hand side - LHT left hand Traffic.
The 'Dip' is generally on the left side, for LHT = Left hand traffic.
