A nice feature on ships, no less on carburettors. It is stupid if the flooded float cannot close the inlet valve of the float chamber due to lack of lift and the fuel pump first floods the float chamber and then the engine compartment with fuel, irrespective of consumption.
Our floats for numerous applications are made of nitrile rubber. Thousands and thousands of tiny micropores provide guaranteed buoyancy, all the time! Excellent and permanently ethanol resistant and suitable for E10.
