Sunbeam spare parts
The Sunbeam brand was founded in 1887 by John Marston as a bicycle manufacturing company. From 1901 onwards, motor vehicles were produced - high-quality cars and, more importantly, motorcycles. The brand's vehicles earned a good reputation for their reliability.
As early as 1935, Sunbeam was taken over by the Rootes Group. Since then, the sportier models of the Rootes Group were sold under the Sunbeam brand.
The Alpine and Tiger models look very similar externally but differ significantly in technology and performance, with the Tiger representing a higher evolutionary stage of the Alpine - it was essentially its "muscle-bound V8 brother".
With the takeover of the Rootes Group by Chrysler, production of the Tiger ended in June 1967 and that of the Alpine in January 1968. From 1970, a four-seater coupé based on the Hillman Hunter was marketed under the name Sunbeam Alpine.
